We believe that in life and business, authenticity and integrity are essential. So, we will never just tell you what you want to hear in order to sell products.
There are many factors that play into the health and presentation of our skin – genetics, water/caffeine/sugar consumption, lifestyle (i.e. smoker, if you used baby oil and foil to tan in the 80’s, etc.), and what we put on our skin is just one of those factors.
What our products WILL do is work with your skin to help create the best possible, beautiful version of what you present to the world every day.
While there are those out there blessed with naturally beautiful, smooth skin, that was never me. My skin has always been what one may call – problematic. I tried all kinds of products but it seemed I was destined to always have breakouts, redness and irritations. I also found going into those big beauty stores to try and find something right for me overwhelming. Not to mention many of the products came in big, bulky, completely not environmentally friendly packaging, with strong unnatural odors and colors. They weren’t for me.
Then, about fifteen years ago, I was introduced to a skincare line created by a master aesthetician with over 35 years of experience in the industry and skincare formulating. I committed to using only her products on my face and have never looked back.
In 2021, an opportunity presented itself to purchase these formulas and it was an easy decision for my partner and I. Equitas Skincare was born. With his science background and understanding of the ingredients used to formulate and my background in bodywork and communications, we make a great team. We are proud to be able to carry on the legacy of these amazing products and look forward to introducing new products in the future. So stay tuned!
